Viewshed analysis for grid layer with given observers.

Precaution

  • There has to be at least one grid layer in project
  • There has to be at least one vector layer which contains points in project

Parameters

Parameter Description
Terrain layer Terrain model as a grid layer.
Observer layer Layer containing observer locations; layer is expected to contain one or more points; only first 50 points will be used.
Radius Specifies the maximum distance (in meters) between the observer and the cell for the analysis to be performed; greater distance implies no visibility.
Terrain offset Fixed terrain elevation offset in meters to e.g.
Observer offset field Attribute field defining observers elevation offset; field value must be expressed in meters.
Refractivity Specifies the refractivity coefficient of light; default is 0.13.
Observer offset Fixed observers elevation offset in meters.
Elevation coordinate Specifies coordinate used as elevation of the observers; default is DEM.
Viewshed output Output path for viewshed analysis with default .grd extension.
AGL output Output path for AGL analysis with default .grd extension.
Include earth curvature If checked then the elevation of input data will be corrected for Earth curvature and refraction.
Fill with zeros If checked then output is initially filled with zeros instead of NoData (default).
Apply default coloring If checked then output will be colorized with default ramp
