Clicking on the Cached mode menu item toggles the cached mode of the Data panel. If the Cached mode menu item is checked, the columns header menu in the Data panel display additional selection lists which can be used for attribute values filtering. In cases when this feature is inactive the performance with very large and complicated vector data sets can be dramatically improved.

To toggle the cached mode of the Data panel, click on the Cached mode menu item.
