Save All

Clicking on the File/Save All menu item saves all geometry and attribute changes made to all open vector layers since the last save operation to their layer files and all the map project related settings to the TTKGP & TTKPROJECT files, in one step.

To save the current state of all open layers and the map project, click on the File/Save All menu item.

Similar functions

  • To save the current state of just the active layer, use the Save feature.
  • To save only the current state of the project related settings (name and path to each open layer, the layer order, visual layer property settings, etc.) to the project file, use the Save Project As feature.
  • To save a vector or image layer to a new file of a different format (file type) or different coordinate system, use the Export feature.

  • The Shift+Ctrl+S key combination.

Note

  • The project file contains all the information required to pull the map project together, including the file names and paths for each of layer, layer order, map area coordinate system, and  visual property settings for each layer, e.g., colors, thematic presentation, labels, fonts, symbols, charts, scale ranges, etc.).
  • If the File/Save function is initiated when no project file has been created for the open project, the Save Changes a dialog box is invoked to enable the user to set the project name and path to create a new project file.
  • If a project consists of only one or more raster (image, grid) layers, the File/Save All feature saves only the current state of the project related settings.
