v108.0, released 2025-11-29, "Legendry"

This version was given the code name “Legendary” to reflect the effort spent on a new Layer Properties Form (aka Legend Form).

This version brings:

• A new Layer Properties Form based on PVL. DK-14676
  • It was built to be more responsive than the existing one and easier to adopt new features.
  • There are some new options added to a legend (e.g., Ramps, Scale Levels, etc.), with more new features to come. But the goal for the first release was to copy all existing functionality.
  • New Layer Properties is available on all platforms except Java. Java will be enabled shortly.
  • Task DK-15010 has a few dozen subtasks internally. We focused on the v108 release to resolve all issues we are aware of.
  • If something does not work, then seting metadata TGIS_ControlLegendForm.Old=TRUE will bring back all behaviour. We will keep this possibility for some time, probably the old way will be removed by the end of Q1 22026
• PDF Printing improvements (including egeoded PDF in template printing). DK-14937 DK-14934
  • PDF printing will be enhanced in the future to also naturally print legend control. However, it is fully functional now.
• Minor fixes and improvements.
