PURPOSE: Resets the bitmap so it can be reused as a fully transparent drawing surface.

BEHAVIOR: Delegates to the underlying platform bitmap to apply full transparency to the entire image.

USAGE: Prepare a bitmap buffer before drawing a new frame.
