Open a project.

If a project is already open, it is closed and any stored passwords are cleared. If _path points to a registered layer type, that layer is opened instead of a project.

USAGE: Load data or project file into viewer. Foundational operation - all GIS workflows start with loading data. Must call Open before any spatial analysis, rendering, or editing.

viewer.Open(data_dir + '\World\VisibleEarth\world_8km.jpg')
