DK for Delphi | GisGeometryFactory.TGIS_GeometryFactory.GisCreateReprojectedShape | Methods
Creates a copy of a shape reprojected from one coordinate reference system (CRS) to another.
// Delphi public class function GisCreateReprojectedShape( const _shp : TGIS_Shape; const _src_cs : TGIS_CSCoordinateSystem; const _dst_cs : TGIS_CSCoordinateSystem ) : TGIS_Shape; static;
// C++ Builder public: static TGIS_Shape* GisCreateReprojectedShape( TGIS_Shape* const _shp, TGIS_CSCoordinateSystem* const _src_cs, TGIS_CSCoordinateSystem* const _dst_cs );
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| _shp | TGIS_Shape | Source shape to reproject. |
| _src_cs | TGIS_CSCoordinateSystem | Source coordinate system. |
| _dst_cs | TGIS_CSCoordinateSystem | Destination coordinate system. |
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| TGIS_Shape | A new reprojected shape, or nil if any required argument is nil. |
PURPOSE: Creates a new shape whose geometry is transformed from the source CRS (Coordinate Reference System) to the destination CRS.
BEHAVIOR: The source shape is used as input and the result is returned as a separate shape instance in the destination coordinate system.
USAGE: Create a reprojected copy of an existing shape.
reprojected = TGIS_GeometryFactory.GisCreateReprojectedShape( shape, source_cs, target_cs)
