Indicates whether the projection's graticule (coordinate grid) is purely cylindrical with parallel meridians and parallels.

PURPOSE: Test if a projection preserves parallel graticule lines (cylindrical projections) vs. convergent/curved graticules.

BEHAVIOR: True for Mercator and transverse Mercator; False for conics, azimuthal, and other types.

USAGE: Rendering optimization: pure cylindrical projections can use simpler clipping/tiling algorithms.

CONSTRAINTS: Read-only; determined by projection type.
